Wave71

biography

Nothing more than programmer and web designer who loves writing music. I listen to Hardstyle which is a more melodic form of hard dance music. I have been listening to it since 2010 and use it now for a base for most of my songs. I started writing music (if it could be called that back then) about two years ago and have come a long way in creating quality tracks.

My older brother can also be found on BandAmp. His name is TonightsLastSong.

Blacklights

February 15th, 2014 + 1:02 PM  ·  Wave71

I have recently been working with my roommate who always has a guitar in hand. This is my first real collab and I can't wait to do it again.

Although it is not my average style, its something I would like to explore more. I consider this "folktronica" Which seems to be the only genre my roommate could agree to listen to, a perfect blend of our styles.

Memento [Preview]

September 29th, 2013 + 7:09 PM  ·  Wave71

Track Name: Brennan Heart - Memento (Amanitin Bootleg) (Preview)

This is the first track in a while and I was just itching to get a new track out there. I just love Brennan Heart, and a few days ago, one of his melodies to wandered into head. I kept building, and liked what I had. So here's a preview of my new track, the Amanitin Bootleg of Brennan Hearts: Memento.

Why So Serious [Preview]

Tony Lizard - Why So Serious (Amanitin Remix Preview)

So it has been a few months, and I have some new tracks. It was kind of hard to pick the first one to put up, because I would like to do them in chronological order, but I am just so excited about this track, and the direction that it is going, that I just had to put it up and get some feed back so far.

I am now releasing under a new name, Amanitin, which is my handle on a number of things, which is why I tacked on the name in the title.

Tony Lizard, who wrote the original mix, now produces in the House/Techno scene, but I took this song from when he produces in the scene much closer to my heart, Hardstyle. The original mix had vocals from the Dark Night, which I am still debating using.

I think this song represents a major step forward for me. This is actually my second remix (my first one will be popping up later) but I love what I have done with it. However, it still isn't done, and I want to ask you for your thought. This is the first time I have pitched a kick, and I think I did pretty well. It certainly gives it a lot more character.

Mutation of Fate

February 23rd, 2013 + 1:02 AM  ·  Wave71

Alrighty, first go with my vocals. They are a wee bit processed but hey, it fits the style. This track was all about experimenting with my voice, and new melodies.

The very first build (0:00-0:06) was constructed all from scratch, and about 60 effects.
The intro tones (the one that sound like your phone is too close to your speaker) is all hold-and-sample work from my vocals.

Vocals:
The Mutation of fate
is upon you now
and if you look away
it will pass you by

So don't think twice
and never look back
for in this moment
you can change your  life

Forever.

Day After Day

January 11th, 2013 + 3:01 PM  ·  Wave71

It has vocals!

Alright, so this track probably needs a little more work, which I will do, but I am just so excited about it that I don't think I could put off uploading it. This song has gotten a lot more time put into than my other songs, so hopefully I have refined it (but it still needs a few things).

The vocals are from DFlight29 (http://www.looperman.com/acapellas/detail/4068).

Lyrics:

Day after day [ay x ?]
Day after day [ay x ?]
[Day after day]
[Day after day]

Day after day [Day after day]
I see your face [Your beautiful face]
And day after day [day]
I go home [Oh, I go home]
Wishing I could be
Home with you

Day after day
Day after day
Day after day
